What is Project Bright Future?

Not all careers need to start with a college degree. Project Bright Future uses a strong network of educational opportunities and business partners to empower students to prepare for their careers and potentially earn an income while still in school. The program harnesses the resources of the Upper Shore—a three-county region including Kent, Cecil, and Queen Anne’s—to help students build skills and obtain hands-on experience, preparing Upper Shore youth to confidently enter the workforce and boost their earning potential right from the start.
